Quote "Glad to oblige..."

Al the Alligator is a character from Lady and the Tramp. He only appears in one scene, where Tramp tries to get the muzzle off of Lady. When Tramp asks Al if he could "nip this contraption off," the alligator answers, "Glad to oblige," and nearly bites off Lady's head. However, Tramp saves her in time and they try another place.

Trivia[]

  • Thurl Ravenscroft, who provided the voice of Al the Alligator, also voiced the Captain in 101 Dalmatians, Billy Boss in The Aristocats, and Kirby in The Brave Little Toaster film trilogy.
  • He somewhat resembles Tick-Tock the Crocodile from Disney's 1953 film, Peter Pan, and both even make the same sounds when they snap their jaws.
